Most people know the famous rapper Kanye West. Kanye was an inspiration for people and was someone people could look up to. Now, people are starting to change their minds about him. This all started on October 3rd, 2022 when Kanye decided to wear a very controversial shirt.

On October 3rd, 2022, Kanye wore a “White Lives Matter”  t-shirt. He decided to wear this controversial shirt to a Yeezy season collection show. He then came back and mocked Vogue editor, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, on social media. After all of this drama, Kanye went on to be interviewed by Tucker Carlson on his Fox News show, which led to the explanation of the shirt. Kanye stated “People, they’re looking for an explanation, and people say, ‘Well, as an artist you don’t have to give an explanation,’ but as a leader, you do. The answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do. It’s the obvious thing.” This comment didn’t calm anyone down, only made people angrier at him and made society bash him more, but this was not the last thing Kanye did to help push his career off a cliff.

On October 8th, 2022, Kanye tweeted “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.” This tweet shook the social media world and the music world. No one expected this kind of statement from Kanye even though he has made strange comments in the past.

In response to all of this, society decided to get rid of his voice on the biggest social media platforms that he uses. His Twitter was temporarily locked and his Instagram account has been banned due to failure to follow their guidelines. This drama is rapidly growing while Kanye’s career and fanbase are rapidly becoming nothing.
