Fiesta Habanero Review

Fiesta Habanero Review

Intro:

In my opinion, Fiesta Habanero is one of the best restaurants in Quakertown. Located on 5th street, this Mexican restaurant is very good. Run by the Zavaleta family, this restaurant opened in 2012. I reviewed the restaurant located in Quakertown, but they have a more formal, sit down place located in East Greenville.

First thoughts:

This restaurant is an outdoor restaurant. When I parked, the place had a very pleasing and nice aesthetic. Its colorful table cloths add a nice splash of color to the place. The string lights also add to the niceness of the restaurant. When I walked up to place my order, the cashier opened up the window with a smile on his face. Greeting me very nicely, I was immediately put into a happy mood. The cashier was super nice to me the whole time, so I had to mention it. His name is Max, and he is one of the owners’ sons.

Food:

I ended up putting in an order for their beef tacos and beef empanadas. The beef tacos were very good; the toppings of onions, lettuce, and pico de gallo (very similar to salsa) all complimented very well with the tortilla and the beef. Combined with their special sauce, it tasted very authentic, and tasted like nothing I have ever had before in Quakertown. The one bad thing I would say about it is the smell, it is a very weird scent, but it is fairly faint. I would give it an 8.7 out of 10.

I also got their empanadas. They offer two types of empanadas: the beef version and the chicken version. I ended up getting their beef version. This happens to be my favorite food in the entirety of Quakertown. The combination of different types of cheese, with the beef, and the crunchy yet soft outer shell all combine for the perfect taste. They are cheap, taste amazing, and very filling. I would give it a solid 10/10.

I also got a Jarritos to drink, a Mexican exclusive soda. Produced with natural sugar, not high fructose corn syrup, this soda is amazing. I got the strawberry flavor, it was also amazing. Overall, I would give this a 9/10.

Final Thoughts-

The staff here is wonderful, the food and drinks here are amazing, I cannot think of anything bad to say about this place. I very highly recommend checking out this place. With the super friendly cashiers, this is a great place to stop for some quick food. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 9.4/10!
